These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between Those Floating Saunas Pty Ltd (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) and you.
By booking, purchasing, or paying for any of our services via our website www.thosefloatingsaunas.com.au, by phone, or in person, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Bookings, Payment & Refunds
1.1 Sauna Bookings
a) A valid credit or debit card is required at the time of booking.
b) Payment for your sauna booking is required prior to the commencement of your session and will be processed via our website or booking platform.
c) All sauna bookings are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling terms set out in Clause 3 (Cancellation, Weather & No-Show Policy).
2. Arrival, Late Arrival & Personal Belongings
2.1 You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled session time. Late arrival may result in a shortened session with no refund or extension.
2.2 If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible on XXXXXXXX. We will do our best to accommodate you.
2.3 Where there is a booking scheduled immediately after yours, you must vacate the sauna at the original end time of your session to allow for the next booking, regardless of late arrival.
2.4 We do not provide secure lockers. Personal belongings are brought at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
3. Cancellation, Weather & No-Show Policy
a) Less than 48 hours’ notice:
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled booking, your payment will be retained. Your session may be rescheduled once to a new date, subject to availability.
b) More than 48 hours’ notice:
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund.
c) No-shows:
Failure to attend your scheduled session without notice will result in forfeiture of your booking with no refund or reschedule.
d) Adverse weather:
If your booking is cancelled by Us due to adverse weather or safety concerns, your booking will be fully refunded or rescheduled at your option.
4. Health, Safety, Swimming, Conduct & Age Restrictions
4.1 Use of our sauna facilities is entirely at your own risk.
4.2 You should seek medical advice before using the sauna if you:
Are taking medication
Have a heart condition
Have high or low blood pressure
Have a chronic illness
Have any ongoing medical condition
4.3 Age restriction:
Children under 15 years of age are not permitted to use the sauna under any circumstances.
4.4 You must not use our sauna if you are:
Pregnant
Feverish or unwell
Experiencing acute bleeding
Intoxicated by drugs
4.5 Smoking, vaping & drugs:
Smoking, vaping, and illicit drugs are strictly prohibited on board the Floating Sauna vessel at all times.
4.6 Swimming & water access:
If you do not know how to swim, we recommend using the outdoor shower connected to the sauna.
Only confident swimmers should use the ladder to enter the water.
Water access is optional and undertaken at your own risk.
4.7 Food & drink:
No food is permitted inside the sauna room.
Food may be consumed outside on the deck area only.
Only water is permitted inside the sauna.
4.8 On-board behaviour:
Guests must:
Wear appropriate swimwear at all times (no nudity permitted)
Follow all staff instructions and safety directions
Refrain from running on board
Behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and marina users
4.9 By booking, you confirm that you are medically fit to use the sauna and not restricted by any condition outlined above.
4.10 Sauna use does not replace medical advice or treatment.
4.11 We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any person who appears unwell, breaches safety or conduct rules, or behaves in a threatening, abusive, or inappropriate manner. Removal under this clause is non-refundable.
5. Vessel Capacity & Guest Limits
5.1 Our sauna operates on a certified floating vessel with a strict maximum capacity of 8 passengers, as set by our vessel certification.
5.2 This limit includes all guests on board at any time, whether they are inside the sauna or elsewhere on the vessel.
5.3 Any additional guests beyond this limit will not be permitted on board under any circumstances.
6. Marina Conduct, Property Boundaries & Swimming Area
6.1 Guests must remain within the Floating Sauna vessel and its designated access and swimming areas at all times.
6.2 Swimming is permitted only within the dedicated swimming area located at the front of the pontoon, as designated by Us.
6.3 Guests must not swim beyond this designated swimming area or move through the marina by water under any circumstances.
6.4 Guests are not permitted to access, board, touch, or interfere with:
Other vessels
Marina infrastructure
Private property within Shellharbour Marina
6.5 Any behaviour that disrupts other marina users, vessel owners, or marina operations is strictly prohibited.
6.6 We reserve the right to immediately remove any guest who breaches this clause. Removal under this clause is non-refundable.
7. Accessibility
7.1 We welcome guests of all abilities.
7.2 As our sauna is located on a floating vessel, access may be limited for guests with reduced mobility.
7.3 If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us prior to your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs where possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Our total liability to you for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from or connected with the use of our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
8.2 Nothing in this Agreement excludes any consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Loss includes (without limitation) financial loss, personal injury, damage, costs, claims, or expenses arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 We are not liable for failure or delay in providing services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, marine restrictions, safety concerns, or government directions.
9.2 Where services are impacted, bookings will be rescheduled to the next available date.
9.3 We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable if your booking is affected.
10. Termination
10.1 We may suspend or terminate this Agreement if you breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach after reasonable notice.
10.2 We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement at any time where necessary for safety, operational, or legal reasons.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
